This typeface for a vintage Chicago church advertisement is very unique. It has a bit too much decorative feel to it for my taste, with all of the teardrop finials coming off different letterforms. The C really bothers me, because it looks like a lowercase d, or maybe an a. All of the letterforms seem to curve in every direction also which just makes my eye bounce everywhere in chaos. In regards to the color of the first letter, that also throws me off, but may have been necessary to note the beginning of each word, as it is so tightly spaced and decorative.
